Vice President and Manager, Personal Trust Services Nancy Andervich joined The First National Bank of Hutchinson Trust Department in 2006. She received a B.A. in American History from the University of Kansas and a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. Nancy served as a staff attorney with Kansas Legal Services for five years and engaged in the private practice of law as a solo practitioner for four years. She holds the credential of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and completed the Cannon Trust School I, II and III. Nancy is a member of the Board of Directors for Wesley Towers and chairs the Development Committee. She is a member of the Kansas Women Attorneys Association and of the Reno County Kansas Bar and American Bar Associations and serves on the Wichita Estate Planning Council. She served as the president of the Board of Directors of the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Center, Inc. Senior Vice President and Manager, First Wealth Management Rod Jones joined The First National Bank of Hutchinson Trust Department in 1997. He is responsible for business development and serves as an account administrator. After receiving a B.S. from Emporia State University in 1983 and working for a regional CPA firm, he spent 13 years with the trust and estate planning division of Bank IV. Rod served as a Director for the Trust Division for the Kansas Bankers Association. He also served the Hutchinson community as a Board Member of the Hutchinson YMCA, a Board Member of the Wheatbelt Area Girl Scouts and a Board Member of the Hutchinson Boys and Girls Club.
Vice President and Trust Officer, Personal Trust Services Tim Givan joined The First National Bank of Hutchinson Trust Department in 2007. He received a B.A. in History, Political Science and Education from Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kansas, and a J. D. from Washburn University School of Law. Tim worked for the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services for 18 years, three years as an attorney supervisor and 15 years as a staff attorney. Tim is credentialed as a Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) and completed the Cannon Corporate Trust School I, II and III with honors. Tim is Vice President of the Reno County Bar Association, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Reno County 4-H Foundation and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Mennonite Friendship Manor, Inc. Vice President and Trust Officer, Personal Trust Services Karen Smart joined The First National Bank of Hutchinson Trust Department in 2007. She received a B.A. in Marketing and an M.B.A. from Pittsburg State University; and a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, Omaha, Nebraska. She served as an Assistant District Attorney for Reno County, Kansas for five years and was employed by Kansas Legal Services. Karen is the chair of the Kansas Legal Services and Child Advocacy Center Board of Directors. She is a member of the Kansas Legal Services Advisory Board and the Reno County, Kansas and American Bar Associations. Vice President and Trust Officer, Personal Trust Services Will Tobin joined The First National Bank of Hutchinson Trust Department in 2005. He received both a B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati, and served as a procurement officer in the U.S. Air Force. For 27 years Will worked in the Trust Department at US Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was actively involved in the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council and served on the boards of several charitable organizations. Will is the president of the Hutchinson Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors and is active in his church.
